The West Bay Athletic League was established in 2002 and is comprised of the following private schools: Castilleja, Harker School, Immaculate Conception Academy, Mercy Burlingame, Mercy San Francisco, Notre Dame-San Jose and Woodside Priory.
The WBAL was formed during a realignment period
when the Private School Athletic League was getting too large. The WBAL sought
schools that were geographically desirable, with consistent philosophies for
athletics and academics, with similar sport offerings and athletically
competitive. The future of the WBAL will be very exciting as realignment that
will effect in the 2008-2009 school year and we will welcome many new schools
and expand our league to a coed league with two divisions. | ||||
